Real-time data analysis, collaboration à la Facebook, and forecasts thanks to BI features – SAP Business Suite has received a number of interesting new functions. We’ll show you what Innovations 2010 offers to SAP users.
Industry-specific solutions, platform enhancements, new BI functions – Innovations 2010, also known as BS7 i2010, comprises all of the latest releases and enhancement packages for SAP Business Suite.
SAP Business Suite itself, meanwhile, consists of the following core applications:
- SAP ERP
- SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM)
- SAP Product Lifecycle Management (SAP PLM)
- SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM)
- SAP Supply Chain Management (SAP SCM)

Innovations 2010 refers to all of the updates and enhancement packages for SAP Business Suite, such as EHP 2 for SAP NetWeaver 7, EHP 5 for SAP ERP 6.0, and all of the EHPs for SAP CRM, SAP SRM, SAP SCM, and SAP PLM. Most of the enhancement packages, however, are still in the ramp-up phase.
A simple maxim sums up the idea behind these packages: “innovation without disruption.” By updating SAP Business Suite regularly in this way, SAP has made expensive, time-consuming release upgrades a thing of the past.
