Information and communications technology company T-Systems is offering cost-effective hosting services for SAP applications at a monthly package price. The price depends on the total number of SAP users in the company, the memory requirements, and the required availability.
The hosting package for SAP applications includes the necessary hardware in a T-Systems data center, hardware maintenance and network connection, as well as current firewall solutions and daily data backups. The systems are connected to the network via MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching). This procedure ensures priority access to business-critical SAP data in the network. Furthermore, the system operation is continuously monitored by SAP experts.
The hosting service infrastructure for SAP solutions can be adjusted to actual demand within hours – and thus provides decisive added value. Unlike classic operating systems, it is no longer configured to the maximum demand. If the customer’s demand changes, the Deutsche Telekom subsidiary can alter the number of users, memory capacity, and the computer performance at any time. This allows the customer to directly influence costs resulting from the assignment of greater or lesser quantities.
