No matter if you’re an iPhone or a BlackBerry user, SAP.info looks great on all the major smartphones, from anywhere on the planet. Using your touch interface or trackball and thanks to mature navigation features, you have the more than 7,000 SAP.info articles so far published at your fingertips within seconds, plus the different categories, the 10 most-wanted items, and the search function. The display automatically adapts to your device’s screen – with no need to install an application. SAP.info works on any smartphone that has an Internet connection. You access it as normal by entering the Web address, and the rest happens completely automatically.

SAP.info mobile is available in different languages, with German or English displayed automatically depending on your mobile Web browser’s settings. You’ll find articles from the categories industries, experts, solutions, and markets.

Screen resolutions for mobile Internet

Smartphone mobile screens and properties vary dramatically from device to device. While the iPhone only offers an average resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, it excels in terms of display and with its handy touchscreen. In contrast, the BlackBerry – which is more prevalent in the business world – has a much smaller diagonal screen size of 2.4 inches, although the horizontal resolution is an impressive 480 pixels. Brand new devices are even equipped with WVGA resolution (480 x 854 pixels), which was common for conventional PC screens back in the 1990s. The table below lists a number of current smartphones that are compatible with the SAP.info mobile display.

As well as the adapted Web display, there’s a pop-up menu, which appears at the touch of a finger or when you move the trackball. As you can see above, the 10 most-wanted articles can also be accessed using the pop-up menu. A full-text search is integrated into the mobile display, enabling the search results to be listed clearly despite the compact screen size. The picture below shows the SAP.info home page on an iPhone and on a BlackBerry.
