The con is that now you can be replaced by someone who needs less training and experience, which will drive wages down.

The technology is amazing but in the instance highlighted in the video it does really seem to be about making drones. With the device that tells you what and how many to pick you really need to know nothing - totally interchangeable workers with no knowledge. The picker even said something himself that highlighted that idea, something like "you don't have to keep your concentration up all the time and you can rely on it".
