With its fleet of 23,000 freight cars, Ahaus Alstätter Eisenbahn (AAE) transports an extremely diverse variety of goods across the European railroad network. Since the beginning of the 1990s, the Swiss company has been developing standard freight cars and renting them to railroad companies and logistics firms. AAE uses the SAP ERP application and the SAP NetWeaver technology platform to set its IT course for the future.
