At PostFinance, customer profitability became the focus of strategic financial planning in 2004. The new focus required a thorough revamping of the planning process. In collaboration with BearingPoint and SAP Switzerland, the financial services provider implemented the business planning and simulation capabilities of SAP Strategic Enterprise Management (SAP SEM), an application of mySAP ERP Financials. The implementation realized integrated and multidimensional financial planning that gave all 160 users a role-based view of their data over the Internet.
