During its transition from state ownership to a private company, Hrvatski Telekom, a Croatian carrier, replaced its decentralized, opaque processes with standard processes. To continue operating in deregulated and global communications markets, the company also replaced 63 legacy systems – 3 major legacy systems multiply with 21 different legacy system locations – with SAP R/3.
