In September, the German-speaking SAP User Group (DSAG) founded a work group for SAP Business ByDesign. Its goals are to provide information on release planning and promote the exchange of experience among users. In addition, it aims to identify and bundle software requirements and pass them on to SAP.

While IT departments have been a great enabler for companies to drive down transaction costs, the traditional IT services models have fallen short when it comes to the current imperatives of improving operational efficiency and business innovation. One reason for this is the low level of global sourcing maturity within the IT services industry.
