Modernization Initiative for the U.S. Department of the Interior

The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) will implement SAP solutions to improve integration and information sharing across eight DOI bureaus and the departmental offices. As part of the DOI Financial and Business Management System modernization initiative, SAP was awarded the contract in conjunction with BearingPoint, Inc., the project’s lead contractor. The announcement was made at SAPPHIRE ’04, SAP’s international customer conference being held in New Orleans, Louisiana, May 11 – 13.
