The consultancy specialists at CIBER Novasoft required only eight months to enable SAP for Retail to go productive at Russia’s Ultra Star corporation. In January 2005 all the old systems were simultaneously replaced by the new integrated ERP system that has since been running stable in production.

The mounting hardware specialist Würth harmonized its logistics and accounting processes with a template for technical wholesale processes that it developed along with SAP. With the template the company was able to develop a more efficient design for its previously heterogeneous system landscape and for the processes in its eight national offices; to use new, wholesale-specific functions; and to lower its overall operating costs.
