Digging for Data

Software and hardware in a single package

SAP BusinessObjects Explorer is designed to help IT departments particularly at organizations in which SAP users tend to put together their own reports. Plans are in place to produce special packages combining hardware and SAP BusinessObjects Explorer software – and partnerships have already been forged with Hewlett-Packard, Dell, and Fujitsu. The solution will also be available through the Best-Run Now initiative from SAP.

Downloadable demo version

Users are welcome to test the capabilities of SAP BusinessObjects Explorer themselves. A plug-in for Microsoft Excel can be downloaded from https://create.ondemand.com/polestar, and then existing data – for example, from an XLS file – can be analyzed. Our screenshots show the results the SAP.info editorial team achieved using test data. Through on-demand access, the data is subsequently analyzed and can also be exported, with data formats or visualization in PNG as options.

Video instructions are available here.
