Lufthansa Systems is to merge the SAP clients of four hospitals for Gesundheit Nord gGmbH. In the resulting system landscape, all of the organizations in the Bremen Clinic Group will be mapped in a single productive client. By standardizing its master data, business processes, and customer-specific programs, Gesundheit Nord hopes to achieve greater transparency and harmony between the areas of administration and medical care. Lufthansa Systems also plans to integrate the industry solution i.s.h.med.
Having recently gained a greater number of SAP Business ByDesign customers, the business process optimization specialist Alpha Business Solutions plans to continue this trend. The company sells SAP’s on-demand solution as a supplement to its own ERP offering, proALPHA, and has been a solution reseller since 2010. Hailing from a variety of industries, Alpha Business Solutions’ new customers now use SAP Business ByDesign in the areas of finance, project and customer relationship management, purchasing, logistics, and human resource management.
Along with the software provider SOU Systemhaus, Opal is now offering a mobile solution that simplifies the process of stocktaking. Users can synchronize stock specifications using a docking station and then enter items based on their product identification numbers. If they can’t find an article in the specifications, the mobile app makes it possible to enter all of the available data on the article. Meanwhile, colored buttons make the entry screen easier to use. In terms of hardware, the app runs on CK3 handheld devices from Intermec.
