Best Performance Challenge 2012
SAP has announced the winners of this year’s Best Performance Challenge, a partner enablement program designed to help SAP partners further develop their competencies to optimize their success in the market with SAP solutions. Awards were given to the top-performing SAP channel partners and system integrators participating in this year’s challenge competition in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH) regions.
More than 120 SAP partners formed teams of two or more people to participate in 10 out of 22 tasks during the competition – tasks spanning categories including business expansion, demand generation, sales cycles, and new innovations, like mobility, SAP HANA, and line of business solutions. As the teams moved through their tasks, they accumulated points for each task for their demonstrated mastery of the fundamentals while also tackling new skills. At the end of the competition, those with the most points were named winners of the 2012 Best Performance Challenge.
Through the various tasks, partner teams learned to apply new tools and techniques using real-life deals and business opportunities. “The success of SAP’s vibrant partner ecosystem is a key competitive advantage for SAP,” says Luis Murguia, senior vice president, Ecosystem & Channels, SAP EMEA. “Delivering to our partners the tools they need to be successful is very important to SAP, and the Best Performance Challenge is one of those tools.
